Common Evening Primrose

A very common flower in dry open places and roadsides. Yellow, two-inch flowers with four petals and prominent X-shaped stamen of the primrose family. Flowers are suppose to open wide in evening. Lance-shaped, hairy, leaves have wavy edges on hairy stems that may be tinged with red.
