A common field (well, lawn) flower in early summer, blooming for an extended period. A cluster orange to red composite flowers on a single 8"-2' stem. Hairy oblong leaves, growing from the base. Very closely related to Yellow Indian Paintbrush which looks the same, but yellow and blooms slightly earlier.
