Miterwort

A common flower is woods, particularly along trail sides. A stalk of tiny, alternating, flowers with delicate, snow-crystal-like fringes around the cup. Paired, wrinkled, toothed leaves - almost joined when high in the stalk. A pretty, delicate plant 8-14" tall.

Closely related to FoamFlower which very apparent in the leaves, locations and growth habits.
