Swamp Milkweed

Found in swamps and ditches where reliably water found. Clusters of red-pink blooms - very much like Common Milkweed but redder. If standing in water, probably Swamp Milkweed, if in dry field, probably Common Milkweed. Leaves narrow lance-shaped, paired and not-thick. Seedpods different than Common Milkweed, being thinner and held erect on terminal stems.
