Swamp Rose Mallow
An uncommon, large, pink flower found in lakeside swamps - particularily Montezuma Wildlife Refuge at the north end of Caygua Lake. The large 5-petaled Hibiscus-like flower with 5-tipped stigmas standout among the reeds in August.
