Ground Ivy
Gill-Over-The-Ground

A very common plant in lawns and fields. Violet-Purple-Blue, lipped, flowers borne at leave axils. Creeping ivy-like plant with roundish, wrinkled, hairy dark-green leaves. Very common. Roots along stem; can be somehwat a pest in gardens. Blooms spring/summer/fall.

A friend says - "Toxic to rabbits."
