White Baneberry
Doll's Eyes

A common flower of shady wood edges in spring, berries later in summer. A elongated cluster of white flowers (elongated compared to Red BaneBerry , which is very similar). Leaves divided in toothed leaflets. White berries with purple "eyes" on thick reddish stalks and are quite unique - you can't help thinking "small white olives stuffed with purple pimiento on red toothpicks". Red Baneberry berries are red in loose stalks and are quite different (more "normal" looking).
