Small White Aster

A common Aster found in fields. The small, white flowers crowd with yellowish centers on a smooth (sometimes purple) stem. Leaves slender with smaller leaflets in the axils. Leaves have a "fractal" nature (as compared to other white asters), leaf at branch axil, with a smaller leaf on the new branch, which in turn has a smaller leaf... Quite common in open fields and particularily along roads.
