Trailing Arbutus
An early spring flower found in woods - usually where moss likes to grow. Also, look where blueberries grow. White, starting-pinkish, flowers that start as a tube and open to 5 petals. Flowers usually in a terminal cluster. Oval, green, leathery leaves that stay ever-green. Hairy trailing, woody stems. Fragrant. The green, very oval leaves are a good way to first spot these plants.
